Ekkle SMS — Church Broadcasts

Get text updates from your church on Ekkle

This page is the opt-in for the Ekkle Church Broadcasts SMS program: announcements, prayer requests, and event reminders sent by your church through Ekkle. Sign up below or text your church's opt-in keyword to their Ekkle SMS number.

Consent to receive these messages is not required to create an Ekkle account or to use any Ekkle service. Account security messages (such as two-factor verification codes) are described separately below.

Sign up for text updates

Enter your name, mobile number, and the name of your church. We will pass your sign-up to your church so they can add you to their Ekkle SMS list.

Already know your church's keyword?

Many churches publish a short keyword (for example, JOIN) and a phone number. Text the keyword to that number from your mobile phone to opt in instantly. You will receive a confirmation reply that you have been added to that list.

Church Broadcasts program details & required disclosures

  • Program name: Ekkle Church Broadcasts (operated by Ekkle on behalf of participating churches).
  • Message types: informational messages from your church — announcements, prayer requests, and event reminders.
  • Frequency: Message frequency varies by church, typically a few messages per month.
  • Cost: Message and data rates may apply. Ekkle does not charge for SMS, but standard mobile carrier rates apply.
  • Consent is optional: You do not have to opt in to this program to create an Ekkle account or to use any Ekkle service.
  • HELP: Reply HELP or INFO to any Ekkle SMS for help, or email support@ekkle.app.
  • STOP / opt-out: Reply STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, QUIT to a message from your church's Ekkle SMS number to stop receiving broadcasts from that church. Reply START, YES, UNSTOP to re-subscribe.
  • No sharing for marketing: Mobile information (phone numbers and SMS opt-in data) will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Terms for full details.

Account security texts (separate, transactional program)

Ekkle also sends a small number of transactional security and account messages — for example, two-factor authentication codes when you sign in, and billing-failure alerts for church admins. These are not part of the Church Broadcasts program above and have their own opt-in:

  • How you opt in: You opt in to security texts by adding your mobile number to your Ekkle profile and enabling two-factor authentication, or by being a church administrator on an Ekkle plan that supports billing alerts.
  • Message types: one-time verification codes, sign-in security alerts, and billing-failure alerts.
  • Frequency: Only when triggered by your own account activity.
  • How to stop: Remove your phone number from your profile or disable two-factor authentication. Replying STOP to a broadcast message does not stop security texts and replying STOP to a security text will stop those security texts but not broadcasts.
