Child Safety Standards

Last updated: July 15, 2026

Scope

These Child Safety Standards apply to Ekkle (the Ekkle mobile apps on Google Play and the App Store, white-label church apps published by Ekkle, and the Ekkle web platform at ekkle.app). Ekkle LLC operates Ekkle.

Ekkle is a church community platform. It is not directed to children under 13. See our Privacy Policy for children's privacy practices.

Standards against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE)

Ekkle strictly prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, trafficking, or any content or conduct that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors.

You may not use Ekkle to:

  • Create, upload, store, share, solicit, or distribute CSAM or any content that depicts the sexual abuse or exploitation of a child.
  • Engage in or facilitate the sexual exploitation, grooming, or endangerment of a minor.
  • Use messaging, prayer requests, live stream chat, profiles, media uploads, or any other Ekkle feature to pursue CSAE.

Violations may result in immediate content removal, account suspension or termination, and referral to law enforcement or child-protection authorities as required by law.

How we address CSAM

When Ekkle obtains actual knowledge of CSAM or other CSAE on the Service, we take appropriate action, which may include:

  • Removing the content as quickly as practicable.
  • Restricting or terminating the accounts involved.
  • Preserving relevant records as required for legal, safety, or investigative purposes.
  • Reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) or the appropriate regional authority, in accordance with applicable law.

How to report a concern

If you encounter content or behavior on Ekkle that may involve CSAE or endanger a child:

  1. Report it in the app when a report or feedback option is available for that content, or contact your church administrator if the concern is limited to your church community.
  2. Email our child safety contact at privacy@ekkle.app with as much detail as you can safely provide (links, usernames, timestamps, and screenshots when available).

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
