What may be retained
Some records may be retained when required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or financial compliance (for example, transaction and audit records).
Disconnecting linked platforms (YouTube, Facebook)
If a church administrator has connected Ekkle to a Google/YouTube channel or to a Facebook Page for live-stream forwarding, you can remove that connection (and have Ekkle delete the stored access tokens) at any time:
- Open the Ekkle app and sign in as a church administrator.
- Go to Admin → Manage Church → Live Stream.
- Click Disconnect YouTube or Disconnect Facebook.
This deletes the stored OAuth access token, refresh token (where applicable), and the auto-created forwarding destination from Ekkle's database.
You can also revoke Ekkle's access from the platform side at any time:
- Google/YouTube: myaccount.google.com/permissions → remove “Ekkle”.
- Facebook/Meta: Facebook Settings → Business Integrations → remove “Ekkle”.
If you cannot access the church admin panel, email privacy@ekkle.app from the email address on file with your Ekkle account and request deletion of any tokens for the affected church or Page. We will action the request within 30 days.
